Madden Football PC
Fighting For Every Yard with Madden
Football for Your PC
Madden football has grown into
a football dynasty that every football addict loves to play. EA
Sports has seriously out done themselves this year. Each year a
new game comes out and EA Sports incorporates a new twist. They
will add new players, new twist and upgrade the animation. This
years Madden football PC edition surpasses any other PC game.
If you have been wondering whether to purchase the Madden 2010,
you will not be disappointed.
Even through the Madden football PC edition has all of the
bells and whistles, there are both a few pro and cons about the
game:
Pros:
•Graphics – the field of action play has had a major
overhaul; the tackles, the speed and movement of the players
are remarkably close to realistic.
•Throwing in tight spots – they corrected the problem of not
being able to throw in tight spots. The defensive backs and
linebackers no longer have the ability to perform unrealistic
moves.
•Interceptions – the interception ratio is more realistic.
Defenders are no longer making unrealistic moves in order to
make interceptions.
•Play calling – Madden football PC 2010 has return to the tried
and true form of posting three plays on the broad.
•Running the ball – they have slowed the game down so that you
can run the ball more effectively and realistically. You can
now see the holes develop while you are still have time to make
a cut.
•Throwing on the run – is more realistic. The only time your
quarterback can effectively throw on the run is if they are
known for being quick on their feet.
•Pass rush, blitzing and clock management – are more
realistic.
Cons:
•Tackling animation – while they have improved the tackling,
there are still times when it takes too long to complete a
tackle. The game no longer lets you make unrealistic
tackles.
•Fumble recovery – you can now fight for fumbles at the bottom
of the pile, via a pop up screen. The problem with this is that
the pop up screen appears even if there is no one around the
player.
•In game cut scenes – there are just too many of them. While
the animation is great to watch, the scenes just too long.
Madden football PC edition is the closest you will come to
being on the field. If you have a laptop, the best thing about
the PC version, is that you will be able to take the game with
you.
